What is this tool?
A free browser-based image editor and compositor. Combine multiple images on one canvas, add borders and rounded corners, apply drop shadows, resize, crop, annotate with text, blur-redact sensitive areas, and export as PNG, JPEG, WebP, or AVIF.
It also includes a full favicon and icon generator — select any number of standard sizes (16, 32, 48, 64, 128, 256, 512) and download a single multi-resolution .ico file ready to drop into a website root.
Why it's different
- Nothing is uploaded — every edit happens on your device
- Multi-image compositor with a real layer system
- Border colours, widths, and corner radius per layer
- Drop shadows and per-layer opacity
- Real multi-resolution ICO output, not renamed PNGs
- Works offline after the first load
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit multiple images at once?
Yes. Drop several images at once or add them later — each becomes an independent layer you can move, resize, rotate, and restyle without affecting the others.
Is there a file size limit?
No hard limit. Very large images (over roughly 50 megapixels) may feel slow on lower-end devices, because everything runs locally on your hardware, not on a server.
How do I generate a favicon or ICO file?
Open the Icons tab, choose the sizes you need (16, 32, and 48 is the common web set), and click Generate ICO. You'll get a single .ico file containing every resolution — drop it into your site root as favicon.ico.
Does it support transparent backgrounds?
Yes. The canvas supports transparent backgrounds, and PNG, WebP, and AVIF exports preserve transparency. Use the transparent background option for logos, icons, and stickers.
Can I undo changes?
Yes — use Ctrl+Z (or ⌘+Z on Mac) to undo and Ctrl+Y to redo. History covers moves, resizes, border changes, text additions, and layer deletions.
Are my images private?
Completely. Nothing is uploaded. Open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab, and you'll see zero outbound requests while you edit. This is verifiable, not a marketing claim.
