File tools that
never see your files
Drop a photo, a PDF, or a link. Get a clean version back. No server. No account. No trace.

Strip GPS coordinates, camera model, timestamps, and hidden metadata from your photos.
See exactly what metadata is hiding in your photo. GPS, camera, author, timestamps.
Shrink JPEG, PNG, and WebP files. Quality slider, live size preview.
Compose images, add borders and shadows, generate favicons and ICO files.
Nothing is sent anywhere
Drag it in, click to browse, or paste from your clipboard. The file is read directly by your browser — no network request is made.
Every tool runs as JavaScript in your tab. Processing happens on your device's own CPU — Canvas API, Web Workers, File API. No cloud compute involved.
The output file is generated in memory and handed directly to you via a download link. It never touches a server. Close the tab and it's gone.
Open DevTools → Network tab before dropping a file. You'll see zero outgoing requests related to your file. The architecture enforces the promise.
The promise is architectural, not a policy.
There is no backend. No API endpoint your file could be sent to even if we wanted to. The code runs in your browser, the output stays in your browser.
What is SORO File Tools?
SORO File Tools is a free collection of browser-based utilities for working with PDFs, images, text files, and links. Every tool runs locally on your device — no uploads, no accounts, no server. Nothing you drop into a SORO tool ever leaves your browser.
Ten tools are available: a PDF editor for merging, splitting, rotating, signing and watermarking; an image editor and compositor with favicon and ICO generation; an EXIF remover and viewer for photo metadata; an image compressor; a PDF metadata cleaner; a text formatter and deduplicator; a CSV to JSON converter; a link tracking-parameter stripper; and a QR code generator.
